The Star Wars clue hiding in these 'Last Jedi' tweets

Since the Star Wars: Episode VIIItitle dropped in January, fans all over the word have one pressing question in their mind:

Is The Last Jedi singular or plural?

If the title is singular, you can assume that The Last Jedi refers to Luke Skywalker. Or maybe Rey? Who knows.

If it's plural, it might refer to Luke and Rey. Nobody really knows.

However, the official Italian Star Wars Facebook and Twitter accounts posted what may be a major hint to the real meaning of The Last Jedi.

It translated the title to "Gli ultimi Jedi", which unequivocally refers to more than one Jedi:

We don't know whether this is accidental, but the revelation has certainly stirred shock and excitement amongst Italian-speaking fans of the saga.

UPDATE: Feb. 17, 2017, 12:40 p.m. GMT The Italian Star Wars page was not the first and only non-English account to reveal that The Last Jediis indeed plural.
