You know a few things about Maine. There are lobsters, lighthouses, and beaches. There are stunning national parks, rugged coastline, and the end of the Appalachian Trail. But there’s also enough unexpected wonder peppered across the Pine Tree State to warrant a proper line-up.

Have you heard of the massive model solar system built by Maine high schoolers that spreads across 40 miles? From antique railway rides to Stephen King’s mansion to the largest (and perhaps most handsome) Paul Bunyan Statue on earth, there’s a lot you don’t know about Maine—yet.
